Our Story
Based by the coast in South Wales and founded in January 2024, we are a small business with big passions. We have a love of candles and ceramics and are passionate about making beautiful products that can be kept and reused.
Our focus is to bring you a beautiful, quality product for your home that is unique and sustainable. At Sea & Valley we hand make and glaze our own ceramic pots so that each one, whilst it follows a theme, will have slight variations and is individual. We mix our own bespoke scents and pour the candles on site in our studio. We control the whole process. We use only natural soy wax that is cruelty free, vegan and biodegradable and 100% pure essential oils for our candles.
At its heart, Sea & Valley brings together our love of nature, the coast and the valleys that surround us in Wales and our love of scent, the mood it creates, the memories it triggers but, above all, the creativity and joy in making our candles and ceramic pots.
Whilst we strive to earn a living doing something we love and are passionate about, we want to do so in the most beneficial way we can for the environment around us and for our customers. Our aim is to create a sustainable product that can be reused or repurposed. We will soon be launching candle refills for our pots.
Creating Sea & Valley is our fresh start, leaving behind our former selves in the corporate world, it is a much needed reset in line with our values. It has taken a leap of inspiration and a huge leap of faith to bring into reality and we hope you will enjoy the results and that our candles and pots will bring you a moment of joy, rest, relaxation, happiness, energy or simply peace.
